Typically, we can fabricate and install new counters 7 business days after templating. That said, due to our backlog it is often 3-5 weeks between accepting a deposit and installing the countertop. Give us a call early in your project to insure we can schedule your counter when you need it.
Historically, fabricators would make a wooden template of the countertop. Then transfer the dimension from the wooden template to the stone for fabrication. Today we take digital measurement with a laser measuring device. The term templating is still used for the process of taking measurements.
